Henry VII

Henry VII was the first Tudor.He was the leader of the house of Lancaster,wich had the Red rose.He was at war with Richard III,who was the leader of the House of York,wich had the white rose.Henry was the true king but Richard had the Crown.They fought 2 miles away from Bosworth.It was called the war of the roses.You might think they fought in Bosworth,but it as in the news a few months ago.After Henry defeated Richard,he married Elizabeth of York.That meant that the two roses combined to make the Tudor Rose.
